About the Hall
Nestled in the Allegheny Mountains, Carnegie Hall is one of only four Carnegie Halls in the world. Since 1983, Carnegie Hall in Lewisburg has operated as a regional center for the visual and performing arts. Such notable performers as Taj Mahal, Gillian Welch, Isaac Stern, Ralph Stanley and George Winston have performed on its historic stage.
Carnegie Hall Inc. is committed to cultivating an appreciation for creativity and excellence in the arts. In partnership with the community, our mission is to present and promote quality artistic performances and exhibitions; educate the community in and about the arts; encourage active community participation; and present programs which appeal to a broad audience, while preserving the historic significance of the Hall.
