Cost: $63 for members plus materials fee; $70 for nonmembers plus materials fee
Ages: 10 and older 

Have you always wanted to play the harp? This class is an introduction to playing the harp for individuals ages 12 and older. Students will learn the basics of harp technique, how to tune a harp, and how to play a few simple melodies and chords. There will be an opportunity to perform pieces for the class on the last day. Harps will be provided. Student will pay the instructor $10 for music materials and $20 for harp rental (if needed). Leah Trent earned her music degrees from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She enjoys teaching harp and playing harp for church services, weddings, special occasions, and holiday concerts. She is also the organist and harpist at the Ronceverte Presbyterian Church.
